First Contest - The Name Game

The Name Game Contest for - Heart of the Forest!

* Prize - 3g Sample Jars of The Heart of The Forest with the special toppers when it releases! - OR - Upgrade to the full size collection for $10! <3

* How to Enter -
* The Winner will be chosen by me - the most inspiring name to be chosen 7/10/2011

My upcoming Collection, Heart of the Forest, will be 6 wonderful Neutral shades of brown, gold, and of course - glittered up. Not TOO much of course, but definitely not bland boring browns.

However I've been thinking and thinking, and can only name 5 of the 6 colors, so heres where you come in! The names Ive already chosen are:

  • Grove - A sacred circle of Trees
  • Ent - A male wood/tree spirit
  • Hart - The King Stag of the forest
  • Faun - A Satyr of more innocent motivations
  • Dryad - A female wood/tree spirit

So I need ONE amazing, awesome, "Brown" sounding name of a Forest flair - and it must something I can draw! Some names you might mention might already be on my (very long) idea list so please dont think if you write down a name and I use it in the future it was "your idea". If I do "use your idea" dont worry, I WILL let you know! <3

Post those names! There is no limit on names or posts, if you get inspired later go ahead and post again! <3

-- If it will not let you post due to Blogger being odd, just post your ideas on the Fanpage and I will post them here for you! --

  9. Ok this may be unimaginative but sometimes obvious is amusing... so here goes:

Brown Man of the Muirs - Protector of wild beasts.

Brownie - His territory extends over the Lowlands of Scotland and up into the Highlands and Islands all over the north and east of England and into the Midlands. With a natural linguistic variation, he becomes the BWCA of Wales, the Highland Bodach and the Manx Fenodoree. In the West Country, Pixies or Pisgies occassionally perform the offices of a brownie and show some of the same characteristics, though they are essentially different. Border brownies are most characteristic. They are small men, about three feet in height, very raggedly dressed in brown clothes, with brown faces and shaggy heads, who come out at night to do the work that has been left undone by the servants. They make themselves responsible for the farm or house in which they live: reap, mow, her the sheep, prevent the hens from laying away, run errands, and give good counsel at need. A brownie can become personally attached to one member of the family.

  13. The "Lynx" is an elusive, ghost-like animal that sees without being seen. Often called "the keeper of secrets of the forest", its magical appearance stems from the mystery that such a creature's secrecy can also be its strength. The Lynx teaches us that even the smallest can succeed in life, and that the world can unfold itself to those who stop and listen. :D

    (Almost forgot! O_O)

  14. "Cernnunos" - a nature and fertility god, has appeared in a multitude of forms and made himself known by many names to nearly every culture throughout time. He is perhaps best known to us now in his Celtic aspects of the untamed Horned God of the Animals and the leaf-covered Green Man, Guardian of the Green World,
